The mechanical armies march on: ISEKAI: Demon Waifu

Today I bring you a game that is heavily advertised and as thus I didn't want to try it out for a long time because I feared it was another one of those kingdom vs kingdom pay to win games, but when I got into this I was surprised at the lac of actual pvp interactions at all. I will also note here, this game is marked mature, yet there is no actual 'adult' content I've ran across in this game. Not much actually happens here. This game is heavily stroy driven and has a lot of graphic novel aspects to it.

When I first played I got this premium Gotcha thrown in my face. It was a special even where you got a daily spin and had a very low chance of getting a rare consort. You can pay gold bars which is the premium currency in this game.

I seem to have lost a Screenshot for the main map of the game so I have to move on to one of the game screens you visit a lot. When you click on the capitol building you arrive here. You use the levy to collect your other resources, food, mana crystals and troops. You need to grab the food first or you can not obtain troops without it. Mana crystals are used to level up your generals you recruit to lead your armies. This game has a lot of things you have to collect around the map and you take a lot of time doing this rather than progressing through the game. I won't go over everything as there would be way too much to cover in this blog.

The harem tab takes you to where all your consorts reside. In this game you can have many demon wives. These girls you have to collect through various points in the game. Later on you can take them on dates and they earn you points to your overall kingdom's power.

Here is the screen of the consort. You are guaranteed one consort at the start. As you unlock more generals and consorts they all form bonds as well that can be grown to gain you even more power and reach with your demon kingdom. You can even give your consorts presents to raise their happiness or power. Over time you can also unlock new outfits for your consorts.

Now we hop over to the portal. Here you go on random visits throughout the world. Here you will run into many people and this is where you start to unlock more consorts. As you visit various women many times, they soon will marry you and your kingdom will grow in power. Not only do you have limited number of visits per your main level, but you also have to collect things to raise your luck to have a higher chance of finding a consort. This luck is used up every outing no matter if you find something useful or not. Later on you can also acquire one time use lands that give a boost of resources once you spend a lot of time to develop them.

Lastly, is the main part of how you progress through the actual story and the main way for your demon to gain levels. This is where all your troop collection comes in as the bigger your army the easier it is to progress. After you get to certain points, your generals are needed to fight bosses and hopefully you've been using your crystals to level them up.

Overall:

 4 of 5 cogs.

This game was surprising. It has a lot of things that drag away time that you have to collect each day. Once you do that, there isn't much you can do in this game until certain things refill. I will take the time to talk about something I noticed in the reviews recently. Many people have gave this game a 1 star complaining about the PVP is pay to win. The PVP element is very minimal and not even something that gets you anything in this game. The game is heavily and mostly a single player game with just a dash of other player interaction.

Story:

 5 of 5 cogs.

Despite some very questionable translation issues, this game has a rich and deep story in it. Each consort has an individual story as well you have to learn as you make them happy. I know, this is a mobile game with a story, and that story follows a kind of graphic novel approach but is executed in such a way it isn't a graphic novel.

Amount of ads:

none

There are no ads at all, none. No optional videos for anything but this game does take up a bit of space on the phone.

Accurate Advertising?:
20%

Let me go over the advertising. In the google store, the screenshots are highly click-bait showing paid models posing in each screenshot. The video ads for this game contain a lot less click-bait than the main google store.

Graphics:
 5 of 5 cogs.

The graphics are gorgeous and HD. A lot of time has been put into the graphics even down to the detail of the HUD. There are many illustrations of character portraits and some of them are even animated.

Gameplay:

 3 of 5 cogs.

The game gets very repetitive and you have many hours of downtime that forces you to play just a very tiny bit each day and suffers from many expensive microtransactions. You may get bored with this game very quickly as it takes a long time to gather everything else before you make any progress in the story.

Free play:
80%

This game is pretty easy to progress and get every consort unlocked except, there are 2 or 3 that are locked behind a VIP lv pay wall. Which means you have to spend a minimum amount of money to unlock these. So no you can not get everything with F2P

Fun factor:
👿 Demon harem, not for everyone and not for little kids.

Idle Panzer

The steam-powered tanks roll in with: Idle Panzer

Welcome to a strange idle game where you build a german designed tank from the ground up. Learning about the many different parts that go in these war machines. Then you go into the campaign mode with these partially built tanks and take on waves of enemies.

You earn money over time and every part you buy and upgrade increases the idle income you get. You can choose how many points you want to put into the item bar. Once you complete a part it can no longer be upgraded. You have to upgrade many parts to certain levels to be able to unlock new parts to build. You can also tap anywhere in the top screen to generate bonus income per tap.

On the second tab here, you can buy multiplier upgrades for each maxed part. This increases the amount of passive income you get.

After you upgrade a tank to a certain point, you unlock the campaign mode. This is a kind of tower defense game with a bit of a spin. You have to slowly unlock more tanks by progressing further along the bar.

Each level of the campaign has different tasks you have to do to complete it. You start off with 1 tank that will attack these random vehicles of war. You can also tap on the enemies to do damage to them as well.

When you click on the icon of the scroll you come to this screen. You have to use the coins you earn in this game mode to unlock new tanks once they are available to buy.

When you click on the icon of the tank, you come to this screen that allows you to upgrade how many coins you get while offline. You can even expand the idle time as well so you don't have to check in on the game as much.

The second tab allows you to upgrade your tap damage in campaign mode. Not much more to explain here.

The last tab is the upgrades to the tank. All the parts you have built up on the build screen increases the power of the tanks in addition to what you pay into here. There is an ultimate but I did not progress far enough to unlock this part of the game.

Lastly on the build screen if you click on the trophy you can then choose to prestige. It looks like the more you progress before you prestige the more bonuses you gain and are forced to start over from the beginning again.

Overall:

 4 of 5 cogs.

Overall, this game is a basic idle game with a couple of unique elements to it. From what I can tell, this game has an accurate representation of the parts of a tank. The tower defence like game is a different tank on and gives you a distraction from the base game.

Story:

 0 of 5 cogs.

You think there would be story in a game about building a tank from the ground up but there isn't any guiding force.

Amount of ads:

 none

As far as I recall there are no ads at all. No bonus ads either.

Accurate Advertising?:
💯%

The ads I've watched have been pretty spot on and is why I decided to review this game.

Graphics:

 5 of 5 cogs.

These graphics are fairly high quality 3d art with a lot of earthen colored textures for the main hud of the game. I love the graphics as there is a very heavy steampunk vibe from this game.

Gameplay:
 3 of 5 cogs.

It's an idle game with some small unique things but at the end of the day there is a limited amount of things you can do with this game to keep you from getting bored.

Free play:
💯%

Fun factor:
🚁 Militairy like.

Idle On MMO

Want to be updated when the next blog goes live? Join my newsletter at: https://tinyletter.com/Hakuzo

Greetings mechanics and tinkerers!

The robots are idling like: Idle On MMO

Welcome to Idle On, a different kind of MMO. There are many AFK elements  You can make several "slave" characters that idle and collect crafting materials while you sleep. Each character has to complete all the quests on their own as several of them help you to increase carry capacity. You could potentially leave a character farming creatures for exp for a month and return with several levels.

This is the main town. You get basic quests here that get you started. Then you must explore around the world very slowly as each portal tends to have a requirement to open to progress. Enemies become massively stronger every time you cross a portal.

You can click on the yellow exclamation point to start a quest. The exclamation point will turn green if you completed the quest. Every quest gives great rewards that help you advance faster. There could be thousands of quest to discover in this game.

The hint tab has a lot of things you will discover as you play. If you forget how a mechanic works you can always come back here to refresh yourself.

This whick ref tab gives you a visual link to some of the important items you will use in the game. This is just reference and not really used much.

The card's tab is where you collect random card drops that can be used to upgrade a large number of skills for bonuses once you get more you can upgrdae the cards for better bonuses.

I never got to figure out what the family tab is about. I think it may be either a friends list that may give you bonuses.

This is your friends list. Not much to see here.

Guilds are also in the game but I never got a chance to find one during my time in this game.

Here is the massive map. It appears to be divided into chapater. You can walk along the hardway to get to a new location or you can teleport a limited number of times a day. There's a lot to explore and I hope to return to this game one day when I am not reviewing other games.

Starting off you have only a limited number of stats available. All of these stats stop at lv 100. As you level up or raise skills from resource collecting. There are hundreds of skills you can unlock as you progress further in the game.

You can also learn very secret skills as well. As you can see, I could not find any during the time I played the game.

The last thing I will go over is the menu. You can adjust the volumes here but they seem to reset on a relog. You can click on AFK info to see how many items or experience you will get per hour if you AFK while doing a task.

Overall:
 5 of 5 cogs.

This game is surprising. This is a blend of two games that works fairly well. Though it's an MMO, you can not interact with others that I know of. It may be possible you can group with friends to take on stronger enemies.

Story:

 4 of 5 cogs.

There is a lot of random story in this game. So many NPCs have a lot of things to say to you. Many inside jokes and comedy.

Amount of ads:

 None!

Zero ads. No optional ads.

Accurate Advertising?:
💯%

I've seen many video ads for this game and so far each one has been accurate. There are no shady or silly click bait things to get you to play this game.

Graphics:

 3 of 5 cogs.

The graphis are reminesent of the stick fighter games. Most of the art starts off simple pixel art until you really get into discovering things.

Gameplay:
5 of 5 cogs.

The game play is very limited. You spend a lot of time idling and waiting to collect stuff. You have to manually pick up the items. Even if you return you have to pick up everything from the ground as well.

Free play:
💯%

There are some microtransactions but you can gain everything from playing the game a lot. The game is very generious with the items they give you. Luck also improves your chances of gaining better items.

Fun factor:
💞 Endless Idling.
